What I Need for the Session
There are only a few things I need to get started recording on your tracks:
A Mix to Play To
Usually a WAV but can be an MP3. The file must start at the beginning of a bar.
The Cello Part
Ideally as a PDF file ready to play. I can also accept MIDI files, or write parts and improvise.
Track Information
Tempo and meter. If there are tempo or meter changes, please include a MIDI map (most DAWs save this in exported MIDI files).
Guide Track (Optional)
It can be useful to have access to the guide part made with a virtual instrument. Or provide mixes with and without this part.
Any Extra Instructions
Specific notes about style, feel, or anything else you have in mind for the recording.
